PSC and the Tell City Electric Department have partnered to form Riverside Communications. At this time, Riverside's offering of Fast-Connect High-Speed Internet is available in Tell City, Troy, Cannelton and parts of Hancock County, Kentucky. The service uses Fixed Wireless technology that carries data at high speeds over airwaves. Fast-Connect does not tie up your phone line, therefore you can be surfing the Net and talking on your phone at the same time! No more World Wide Wait with Fast-Connect service; data can be delivered at rates up to 1.54 Mbps (about 40 times faster than through a V.90 dial-up modem connection).
